ABC-Salon in Munich set new records on both order days.

The organizers of ABC-Salon are just as enthusiastic about the all-round positive feedback on the order fair at MOC Munich as exhibitors and visitors.

As it turned out, the success story of the compact trade fair with familial feel could be continued this year: from March 1 to 2, 2020, more than 115 renowned labels presented themselves at ABC-Salon – more than ever before. A total of 642 visitors came to Munich to order the new collections at this point in time, which was deliberately chosen early in the year – a new record number of visitors. Another proof for the reputation of ABC -Salon: the visitors came not only from the whole of the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also from the Czech Republic, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Ukraine.

“This was the best ABC-Salon we have ever attended. We have never been able to generate such strong sales and generate so many customers, including many from Austria and Switzerland as well as from Northern Germany and the Ruhr area. In addition to our own in-house trade fairs, ABC-Salon is the only trade fair where we exhibit. We feel very comfortable here and thank the organizer for the great trade fair organization, ” said Eduard Pfizenmaier, Managing Director of Fashion Queen GmbH.

ABC-Salon was opened with a fashion show. With live music from the band Stanzi Joy and a glass of sparkling wine, the guests got on well and were able to get into conversation, draw inspiration from selected styles for the new season and order them earlier than at other fairs. Exhibitors and visitors were extremely enthusiastic about the event and will be happy to come back next year.

“It was our first time at ABC-Salon and we were more than pleasantly surprised. On Sunday there were two of us at the stand and we could have been four employees, that much was going on. We would love to come back,” comments Anne Kathrine Rantzau, Managing Director Lilly A / S.

The ABC-Salon preview magazine, which appears twice a year – in October and as a special format in January – was sent to 1500 renowned bridal shops from Germany, Austria and Swizerland as a personal invitation and reported about the new collections and highlights of ABC-Salon in advance.

“On Sunday we had appointments and orders from 9.05 am to 6.00 pm, Monday as the second day oft he fair was also very strong. We are absolutely satisfied and we are pleased that ABC-Salon has developed this brilliantly and is visited so well,” sums up Andreas Peucker, head of agency Andreas Peucker.

Last but not least, it is the relaxed atmosphere and the many thoughtful extras og ABC-Salon that both exhibitors and visitors appreciate. The eye-catching presentation in the open area of the foyer facilitates initial contact and the mix of open space and closed showrooms enables each exhibitor to present their collections in an individual style. The excellent visitor service does not only include free parking and WiFi, but visitors could also look forward to small gifts such as a glass of sparkling wine or a welcome bag with exclusive give-aways.
